This Fiber Optic Hands-On course is specially designed for contractors electricity, cable installation, TM contractors, institutional students higher education, and individuals interested in improve their skills in the field of telecommunications, especially fiber optic technology. In this course, participants will exposed to methods of assembly, connection, and fiber optic cable termination through the approach practical (80% practical training). This course aims to provide the latest knowledge and skills that needed to meet the needs of the industry.

  • Modul 1: Pengenalan kepada Fiber Optik

    - Pengenalan kepada teknologi fiber optik dan kepentingannya dalam industri telekomunikasi.

    - Jenis-jenis kabel fiber optik dan kegunaannya.

  • Modul 2: Pemasangan Kabel Fiber Optik

    - Langkah-langkah pemasangan kabel fiber optik dalaman.

    - Teknik pemasangan kabel fiber optik luaran.

    - Pengurusan kabel yang betul untuk keselamatan dan kecekapan.

  • Modul 3: Penyambungan dan Penamatan Kabel Fiber Optik

    - Teknik penyambungan kabel fiber optik (splicing) menggunakan mesin fusion splicer.

    - Penamatan kabel fiber optik dengan penyambung (connectors).

    - Pengujian dan pengesahan sambungan yang dibuat.

  • Modul 4: Pengujian dan Penyelesaian Masalah

    - Menggunakan Visual Fault Locator (VFL), Optical Power Meter (OPM), dan Light Source (LS) untuk mengesan kerosakan pada kabel.

    - Langkah-langkah penyelesaian masalah dalam pemasangan dan penyelenggaraan.

  • Modul 5: Amali Fiber Optik (Hands-On)

    Pemasangan FASC Connector pada Kabel Fiber Optik serta jalankan pengujian menggunakan Visual Fault Locator (VFL), Optical Power Meter (OPM), dan Light Source (LS).

    Penyambungan Kabel Fiber Optik Menggunakan Mesin Splicing serta jalankan Pengujian menggunakan Visual Fault Locator (VFL), Optical Power Meter (OPM), dan Light Source (LS).

    Pendawaian dan pengujian pendawaian fiber optik dari Fiber Distribution Cabinet (FDC) sehingga ke Optical Network Unit (ONU).
